Gili Trawangan - Your dream holiday destination
Gili Air, Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan, commonly called the Gili Islands, are 3 tiny islands near Lombok in Indonesia.
Just 2 hour fast boat trip from Bali and you reach these paradise islands, surrounded by crystal clear waters. There are no motorbikes or cars here, so that alone gives the islands a quiet, calm atmosphere. Add palm trees, sunshine and relaxed island vibes, and your dream holiday destination is complete. Gili Trawangan is the most developed and touristy island of the 3 Gilis. Sometimes also called "party island", which - in a way - is true. If you want to party on the beach until sunrise, that is possible. But you can still find your own quiet spot on the beach and enjoy the lazy days under the sun. Life in GiliT is easy: anything you need is available, whether it is a good pizza, cold beer or a new hair cut or tattoo. Beach road is lined with little shops and nice restaurants. You can spend your day diving, horse back riding, playing mini golf, snorkeling, learning Indonesian cooking at one of the cooking schools, doing yoga or kayaking. Or just find that spot of yours at the beach and relax. |
